Load Bearing Wall Removal on Milan Pl @ Anaheim, CA
Our client from Anaheim, CA called us prior to moving into his newly purchased home. His family wanted to expand the living room area.
They asked to tear down load bearing walls that divided the living room, dining area, and kitchen in their home with a crawl space. We began by doing a structural inspection on the existing home.
Our design asked for the demolition of a chimney and load bearing walls. Then replace these components with two Parallam PSL beams and and three Rigidlam Posts to withstand all dead and live loads from the building.
These posts were strategically placed within walls and the beams above the ceiling finish to prevent them to be seen. Plans were complete, submitted, approved, and handed off to the owner for construction.
The owner contracted their contractor independent from our company to perform construction.
